Want greater concentration and focus?

Come to the Introduction to Mindfulness Course (updated for 2019-20), on Wednesdays 1.15-2.15pm in Bredon Building BB0178, during term time.

Everyone is welcome.  No previous experience is necessary.  Come to all sessions in the course or drop in throughout the year.

20th November Week 2 – Using the Breath to Anchor

27th November Week 3 – Dealing with Thoughts

4th December   Week 4 – Dealing with Feelings

11th December Week 5 – Stress: Responding v Reacting

18th December Week 6 – Making Mindfulness a Part of Life



Learn to apply mindfulness training to develop your capacity to:

  1. Consciously act and respond with awareness rather than react out of habitual pattern
  2. Bring greater concentration and focus to your daily activities
  3. Monitor levels of stress and distress, and take effective steps to address them
