Join us to share a book you’ve loved and pick up a new one to continue your reading journey. Bring along a book you’d like to swap from home, or from the shelves at The Hive. Join the discussion about what makes a great read and discover something new. Not got something to share? No problem, feel free join the discussion and our friendly team can help you explore how The Hive can give you instant access to a world of reading.
World Book Night Reading Hour

Join us to celebrate the National Year of Reading 2026 by taking part in the nationwide #ReadingHour.
For a dedicated hour we’ll be creating a calm space on Level 3 to simply enjoy reading during the nationwide #ReadingHour.
Bring whatever you love to read: novels, graphic novels, non‑fiction, ebooks or audiobooks (with headphones). There will be the chance to pick up refreshments from the cafe in between. Studying at University of Worcester? Remember to show your student card to get your student discount.
The Book swap and Reading Hour are open to all, no booking necessary. These events are free of charge. We look forward to welcoming you!
