As reassessment week approaches, it’s completely normal to feel a little stressed. But don’t let it get the best of you! We’ve got just the thing to help you de-stress and recharge.

We’re bringing back our popular “Fancy a Break?” sessions specifically for students navigating the challenges of this intense period. These sessions are designed to give you a much-needed mental breather.


Why You Should Join Us

  • De-stress and Recharge: Stepping away from your studies, even for a short while, is crucial for your mental well-being. Our “Fancy a Break?” sessions offer the perfect opportunity to unwind, clear your head, and engage in some relaxing activities. It’s your chance to chat with fellow students, enjoy a moment of peace, and come back to your work feeling refreshed.
  • Improve Your Overall Wellbeing: Sometimes, the best way to improve your mental health is simply to change your environment and engage in something different. We’ll be providing a selection of hot and cold drinks, along with biscuits. Our “Fancy a Break?” sessions are designed to help you relax and reset, making it easier to return to your work with a fresh perspective and a positive outlook.

What to Expect

During the “Fancy a Break?” sessions, you’ll find a variety of relaxing activities to help you unwind and unleash your creativity. We’ll have colouring sheets, puzzles, and games available. These are not only fun but also a great way to take your mind off the reassessment stress.

Beyond the activities, “Fancy a Break?” offers a supportive space to connect with other students. It’s a fantastic opportunity to chat about anything and everything – well, maybe skip those tricky exam questions for now! Building connections with your peers can help you feel less isolated and remind you that you’re not alone in this journey.

And if you find yourself needing extra guidance, our friendly Student Wellbeing team will be on hand during the sessions. They’re there to answer your questions and point you towards the resources you need to succeed.
