Hylton Road will close this evening (Thursday 14 November) to allow for the installation of the flood defence pumps.
The road closure will begin at 6.30pm and is expected to last approximately three hours.
Local diversion signs will be in place.

The Estates and Facilities team continue to work to alleviate localised flooding at the Severn Gate (off Hylton Road) and everyone is advised to avoid entering or leaving the St John’s Campus by this route. The campus is otherwise open as usual and fully accessible through the Malvern Gate (off Oldbury Road), but please use caution when driving on campus roads.
There is localised flooding around the county, which may affect travel, so you are advised to check that your route is clear before setting off. Remember never to navigate through flood water as it can be dangerous. Only travel if it is safe to do so and ensure that you are prepared for the conditions.
