Whether your course continues over the next few months, you’re resubmitting assignments or just want to get ahead for next semester, Library Services are here to help…
- Our live chat service is open until 10 July but, throughout the Summer, you can ask us a question using our 24/7 chatbot, or by emailing us. You can also still book onto a Study Skills Live workshop, and access all our usual advice via the Library Services website, YouTube and the Study Skills portal.
- The Hive is open 7 days a week throughout the summer, 8.30-22.00, except bank holiday Monday 31 August.
- Our Academic Liaison Librarians will also be out and about across campus to provide drop-in, in-person guidance:
- Tuesday 7 July, 1:30- 3:30pm, Main Reception St John’s Campus
- Tuesday 14 July, 11:30am- 1:30pm, Elizabeth Garrett Anderson
Find out more about getting help over Summer, including how to get ahead for next academic year on our latest blogpost.

Don’t forget about the Hive Student ‘Textbook Rescue’…
You can drop off your finished or unused textbooks at firstpoint at St John’s Campus, in the dedicated donation box during firstpoint opening hours, or at the Students’ Union reception in the Charles Hastings Building at City Campus, throughout the summer until the end of August.
There will then be a sale of all books in The Hive on September 30, from 10am to 3pm – all books £1 each. Your old books could make a real difference!
