UCAS Exhibition: Thursday 23rd March

The annual Hereford and Worcester UCAS Exhibition will take place at the University of Worcester Arena this Thursday, 23rd  March. This is a very large event with over 4,000 visitors attending from schools across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We will be welcoming more than 130 Higher Education Institutions, as well as our own.

The Exhibitor Hall will be located in the main hall of the University Arena, with seminars for visitors taking place at Riverside. Please note that the Social Learning Space at Riverside will be closed from 8am until 3pm on Thursday, as this will be used for the Exhibition.

In order to minimise disruption we have made the following arrangements:

Traffic Management – Thursday 23rd March:

Please be aware that vehicle access to the Riverside Campus will be for exhibitors only (displaying a valid parking permit), coaches and minibuses attending the Exhibition.

Car Park closures for the event:

– Riverside and Arena Car Parks

The Car Park next to the Riverside Building and the Car Park behind the Arena will be partly closed during the day on Wednesday 22nd March and will be fully closed from 9pm on Wednesday and all day Thursday 23rd March.

All Car Parks at the St John’s Campus and City Campus (Moors and Jenny Lind) will remain open.  Students and staff with permits to park at Riverside are very welcome to use any other University Car Park on the 22nd and 23rd.

If you are disabled/a blue badge holder, which necessitates you using a particular Car Park on campus, please contact Graham Cozens, Control Room Supervisor, who will be able to work with you to identify a suitable parking space. Graham can be contacted on g.cozens@worc.ac.uk or by dialling extension 2189.

Thank you for your understanding and support. This event is an invaluable opportunity for local students to find out more about Higher Education, as well as allowing us to showcase the University and its facilities.
