If the answer is yes then the Vacation Research Assistantship Scheme may be for you.
The aim of the scheme is to provide undergraduates, and recent graduates with “hands on” experience of research, to gain an insight into research and to encourage them to consider an academic career.
Students will be provided with the opportunity to engage in a defined research project for 6-10 weeks. This will enable you to not only gain insight into research as a career, but importantly, will also give your CV a distinctive edge. Furthermore, you will gain employment skills through experience of making an applications and undertaking an interview within a research context.
