Take Some Time Out This Reassessment Week with “Fancy a Break?”

Reassessment week can be demanding, and it’s natural to feel the pressure building. While focusing on your studies is important, so is looking after yourself. That’s why we’re once again offering our popular “Fancy a Break?” sessions throughout the week.

Designed especially for students during reassessment period, these informal drop-in sessions provide an opportunity to step away from your work, take a breather, and spend some time doing something different.

Why Attend?

  • Give Yourself a Well-Earned Break: Taking regular breaks can help you stay focused and productive. Our “Fancy a Break?” sessions offer a welcoming space where you can relax, switch off for a while, and return to your studies feeling refreshed.
  • Look After Your Wellbeing: A change of pace can make a real difference during busy periods. We’ll have a selection of hot and cold drinks, along with biscuits, available for you to enjoy while you unwind and recharge.

What’s Happening at the Sessions?

There’ll be a range of light-hearted activities to help you take your mind off reassessment deadlines for a little while. Whether you’d like to get creative with colouring activities, challenge yourself with a puzzle, or enjoy a game with friends, there’s something for everyone.

The sessions are also a great chance to meet other students, have a chat, and spend time in a supportive environment. Sometimes simply being around others can help make a busy week feel a little more manageable.

If you’d like additional support, members of the Student Wellbeing team will be available throughout the sessions. They can answer any questions you may have and help connect you with relevant wellbeing services and resources.
