We’re excited to celebrate the festive season once again with a week of Christmas-themed events during the last week of teaching, 15th–19th December. All students are warmly invited to join us for activities that bring together fun, creativity, and community spirit. Here’s what we have planned as we head toward the holiday break.

Boardgaming: Monday 15th December – Charles Hastings Café, 12pm–2pm
Start the week with some friendly competition at our festive Boardgaming session! Whether you’re discovering a new favourite, revisiting a classic, or bringing along a game of your own, this is the perfect chance to unwind, meet new people, and enjoy a cosy seasonal atmosphere.
Children’s Christmas Carols: Tuesday 16th December – firstpoint, 10am
On Tuesday morning, join us for a heart-warming performance by pupils from Oldbury Park Primary School. They’ll be singing a mix of traditional and modern Christmas classics—feel free to join in for a cheerful sing-along that’s sure to brighten your day!
Christmas Crafternoon: Wednesday 17th December – The Hangar, 12pm–3pm
Midweek, we’re bringing back our popular Christmas Crafternoon. Drop in to enjoy festive crafting activities, including cracker-making, card-making, and up-cycled snow globes. Whether you’re a crafting enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing break, this is a great way to get into the holiday spirit.
Christmas Movie Night: Thursday 18th December – The Hangar, 7pm
Settle in for seasonal classic “The Polar Express” at our Christmas Movie Night, hosted by the Residential Team. With a cosy atmosphere and plenty of festive charm, it’s the perfect mid-week treat. Keep an eye out for confirmed details coming soon.
Christmas Coffee Morning: Friday 19th December – firstpoint, 10am–12pm
We’ll wrap up the week with a special festive edition of “Fancy a Cuppa?” Enjoy hot drinks, snacks, Christmas music, and a relaxed space to chat as we mark the end of teaching for 2025. It’s an ideal moment to reflect on the semester and celebrate together before heading into the break.
