The Students’ Union help you stay safe and informed

Throughout October and November, Worcester Students’ Union is campaigning to help students stay safe and informed while studying at university. As part of this effort, they are offering a range of essential safety tips and support to ensure that both students and their friends thrive and make the most of all opportunities at university.

One of the key highlights of this initiative is the Safety Fair, taking place on Monday, 7th October, from 11am-3pm in the Hangar at St John’s Campus. The event will bring together over 20 charitable organisations, each providing valuable advice, resources, and freebies for students, their friends, and family. Whether you’re looking for guidance on personal safety, mental health support, or housing advice, there’s something for everyone. The University’s Student Support and Wellbeing and Money Advice services will also be in attendance, ready to answer any questions our students might have about their experiences at Worcester.

You’ll also have the chance to participate in engaging activities, including free health checks and a chance to have a go on a drink driving simulator. Speak with housing specialists to get advice on safe and affordable living, and discover many more interactive opportunities designed to keep you informed and safe.

Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to connect with support services, gather useful information about staying safe, and walk away with some great giveaways! We look forward to seeing you there.
