Did you know about the rest room?

Did you know that the University has a Rest Room facility for student and staff use?

The Rest Room, BB180, is available for members of the university community who may need a quiet and private space.

The room can be used for:

  • A rest period between lectures, due to a disability or medical condition
  • Carrying out a medical procedure
  • Limited physical exercise e.g. whilst recovering from an injury
  • Breast/bottle feeding a baby or solid feeding small children
  • Nappy changing

The Rest Room facilities include a bed, a comfy chair, a high chair, a fridge, a low child’s level table and chairs, baby changing facilities and clean laundry.

Access to the room is with an ID card and the door can be locked from the inside – remember to change the door sign to engaged.

This is not a bookable space so please be considerate of all users by limiting use to a maximum of one hour, and leave the room in a clean and tidy condition.
