Each year around 400 new international students join us at the University of Worcester. Our new International Buddy scheme aims to support these students, helping them make new friends and settle into their new life abroad.
We would love to be able to offer each international student who joins us from September 2019 a buddy to help them to settle into life in Worcester.
Being a buddy is an opportunity for second and third year students to share their experiences and knowledge of university life, and help new international students to learn about the British culture.
The scheme aims to provide answers to questions about living in the UK, studying at the University of Worcester and help new students to settle in to university life.
As a current student, becoming an International Buddy gives you an opportunity to gain voluntary experience and build valuable skills essential for employment.
