UCAS Exhibition: Thursday 21st March at the Arena

The annual Hereford and Worcester UCAS Exhibition will take place at the University of Worcester Arena this Thursday, 21st March. This is a large event with over 4,400 visitors attending from schools across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We will be welcoming more than 140 Higher Education Institutions.

Areas around the University of Worcester Arena and the Riverside Building will be exceptionally busy during the set-up times on Wednesday 20th March and the day of the Exhibition, Thursday 21st  March.

The Exhibitor Hall will be located in the main hall of the University Arena, with seminars for visitors taking place at Riverside. Please note that the Social Learning Space at Riverside will be closed from 8am until 3pm on Thursday, as this will be used during the Exhibition.

In order to minimise disruption for colleagues and students we have made the following arrangements:

Traffic Management – Thursday 21st March:

Please be aware that vehicle access to the Severn Campus will be restricted for exhibitors (displaying a valid parking permit), coaches and minibuses attending the Exhibition.

Car Park closures for the event: Riverside and Arena Car Parks

The Car Parks at the Riverside Building and the Car Parks behind the Arena will be fully closed from 6am on Wednesday 20th March and all day on Thursday 21st March, reopening at 4pm on Thursday.

Please observe the Car Park closures as delivery lorries will need clear access for manoeuvring.

All Car Parks at the St John’s Campus and City Campus (Moors and Jenny Lind) will remain open.  Students and staff with permits to park at the Severn Campus are very welcome to use any other University Car Park on the 20th and 21st March.

If you are disabled/a blue badge holder, which necessitates you using these Car Parks, please email carparking@worc.ac.uk or telephone the main security control room on x5495 and they will be able to work with you to identify suitable alternative parking.

Thank you for your understanding and support. This event is an invaluable opportunity for local students to find out more about Higher Education, as well as allowing us to showcase the University and its facilities. If you have any questions about the event, please email study@worc.ac.uk
