All parking permits for the academic year 2017/18 will expire on 31 July 2018 and will need to be replaced. This process will also be an opportunity to update your information.
You must display a valid permit by 28th September 2018 to park on University car parks. Until this date, if you do not have a current permit, we would advise that you pay and display when parking on campus and you can find a list of charges at the end of this webpage: www.worc.ac.uk/finance/38
Information about the parking permits, including costs, a map and the car parking rules and regulations, can be found on the University of Worcester webpage:
worc.ac.uk/your-home/student-car-parking-information
The parking permit application process is an online only service which you can access here.
- To use the online application form you will need to be a registered student and have your University username and password.
- Payment is required during the on-line application process by using a credit / debit card.
- If you have a Blue Badge and are entitled to a permit free of charge, you will still need to register. You will be issued with a University of Worcester permit, but must also ensure that your Blue Badge is displayed when parking in a disabled parking bay.
Once you have completed your online application, your permit will be available for collection from firstpoint as follows:
- 9.00am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday, until 31st August (excluding Bank Holidays)
- 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday from 3rd September
You must bring your student card with you for identification and you may not collect permits on behalf of another student.
If you have any questions regarding parking on the University campus, please email: carparking@worc.ac.uk
Good afternoon
It won’t let me login to the parking permit page to begin the application could I obtain some assistance with this please?
Hi Karl, thanks for your message. To log in you need to have completed registration and use your username and password, not your full email address. I hope this helps but you can call us on 01905 542551 or email firstpoint@worc.ac.uk if you have more questions.
Hi,
I have sent emails and as yet have not had a reply and tried to telephone.
I have registered and confirmed that this has been completed.
Please can you confirm what our ‘user name’ is and where I can locate this information.
I have a Log in ID which is an email address and a student number, but I am not sure what me user name is and where this located.
Many thanks
I have paid over £100 for a parking permit which only lasts until 31st July??!! Even though my course doesn’t finish until the end of August and I have an exam tomorrow. No point paying for another car parking permit but I would expect the parking permit to last a full year when paying that amount of money for one. Purchased last September, and runs out the following July. Not all students have the summer off! I think this needs to be looked into.
Hello Louise
Thank you for your e-mail. We fully appreciate that many of our students have different study times that include the summer period. Whilst the car parking permits follow the university semester times, students displaying a current permit 2017-2018 are able to continue to park through August. If you have any further queries about this you can contact the car parking team on carparking@worc.ac.uk
Good afternoon,
I live at Fern Hall postgraduate accomodation.
Do I need a parking permit to park my car on the drive of the house? Noting that this is NOT on campus?
Thank you,
Bastien
Dear Bastien
To park at Fern Hall at all times you would need to have the resident permit. Prices can be found from the links above. If you intend only to park there between the hours of 5pm – 9am or at the weekend, you could have the Severn permit. If you have any further queries about this you can contact the car parking team on carparking@worc.ac.uk
