This weekend the University’s IT team will be implementing a number of security updates and patches on key systems to ensure that our services are protected.
The work will take place on Sunday morning (January 14th) between 08:00 and 13:00. During this period there may be short outages to some services while the updates are being installed. Detailed planning has taken place to ensure that disruption is kept to a minimum and, although there should be no interruption in the availability of the University website, student portal and Blackboard during this time, these services should be considered ‘at risk’ on Sunday.
