As part of our ongoing improvements to the infrastructure services across the University, we will be undertaking some small electrical works from Tuesday 2 January to Friday 5 January 2018.
This will require us to turn off the power to small areas of the Edward Elgar building at a time from 6pm each evening throughout the night.
Power will be restored to all areas before 8am the following morning. (Please not this work will not affect rooms EEG051 to EEG074 (science labs)).
We will work around timetabled bookings. However, due to the nature of the works involved it is not possible to confirm which areas will be affected each evening. Therefore, we ask that you ensure that all sensitive equipment and computers are switched off at the wall socket on each day during the week from 2 January. If you have any concerns or wish to tell us about any events taking place during the evenings of that week then please reply to this email.
