You are invited to participate in a research project ‘An investigation into the knowledge and attitudes of staff and students, at the University of Worcester, into driving whilst under the influence of illicit drugs’. This is a collaborative project involving University of Worcester staff including; Lecturers, Security, Student Support, University of Worcester Students’ Union, West Mercia Police, South Worcestershire Safer Roads Partnership and Public Health. The project was first launched at an event at the Hanger on Wednesday 15 November to a very positive response and forms part of the University’s commitment to awareness raising events and collaborative working. The ultimate aim of the research project is to use the findings to inform a future local police awareness campaign. It has been timed to coincide with the Drink Driving Campaign, Road Safety Campaign and Alcohol Awareness Week all near this date.
The survey, which is anonymous, will take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete and in addition to asking questions also gives answers to develop knowledge and awareness.
