The University Money Advice Service is holding a three day event in the main reception area from 15th to 17th of November to raise student awareness about the true cost of borrowing. On the first day (15th) they will be supported by the UK Illegal Lending Team (part of Trading Standards) to help explain dangers of borrowing from “Loan Sharks”. Prizes, freebies and selfie photo opportunities with two “sharks” and lots of information will be available.
