Adverse weather conditions – Hylton Road open

The University of Worcester is fully open, including the Arena and Riverside.

Hylton Road is currently open, but the flood defences in Worcester mean that the road may close very suddenly, removing vehicular access to the Arena and Riverside. Access for pedestrians is via the footpath along Hylton Road, or Henwick Close and then down Hardwicke Close. The Sabrina footbridge is open as usual.

The BBL game between the Worcester Wolves and Durham Wildcats at the Arena on Friday 10 January will take place as planned.

There are other flooded roads around the county, so you should check your route before you travel. Up-to-date road and travel information can be found on the BBC Hereford and Worcester website.

Further updates will be posted here and on this page on the University website if conditions change.
