This year’s University of Worcester Carol Service takes place on the evening of Tuesday 10 December 2013. This year the service will be held in The Cathedral Church of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary of Worcester.
The University’s annual Carol Service is arranged by the University Chaplain, Revd Dr Fiona Haworth. This year Fiona has chosen to focus the Carol Service on the theme ‘Good News to the Poor’, with readings from the bible and poems. The Carol Service will, of course, contain familiar, well loved carols with the opportunity for everyone to join in singing.
During the Carol Service a collection will be held in support of St Richard’s Hospice which is this year’s University of Worcester Charity of the Year.
Family and friends are also very welcome to accompany students to the Carol Service.
