Formal Opening of Peirson Study and Guidance Centre, Tuesday 12th March

Tomorrow we welcome the University’s Chancellor, HRH Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO, to formally open the Peirson Study and Guidance Centre. For security reasons, there will be no access to the Peirson Study and Guidance Centre between 11.20am-12.15pm approx. You will be able to enter the building before and after these times as normal. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please be aware that if you are using the Centre during the Duke’s visit, a PA system will be in use and there will be a large number of visitors in the building. If you will find this disruptive, you may wish to consider using alternative study space during this time period.

Car Park A (short stay), C (Woodbury) and D (Conference Centre) will be closed off until after lunchtime. Alternative parking is available at Coppertops Pub on Oldbury Road. If you are a disabled/blue badge holder or have a short term disability, please contact Tom Taylor, Head of Security and Campus Services who will be able to work with you to identify suitable alternative parking. Tom can be contacted on t.taylor@worc.ac.uk or through main reception by dialling ‘0’.

Thank you for your cooperation.
