The following facilities will be available in Peirson on St Johns Campus from Monday 15th October –
- The ICT help desk
- 85 PCs
- 40 Laptop points
- Print and Copy facilities
- Study Spaces
- 2 Group study areas with large screens
- Wi-Fi access
- Media equipment loans
Access 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.
Outside these hours PC rooms will be available for student use (evenings and weekends), information on room availability can be found on the main screen in reception, SOLE, ILS website and ILS Facebook www.facebook.com/UniversityofWorcesterILS.
The staff common room will continue to be used as a ‘quiet study space’ for students until phase 2 of the Peirson project is completed.
Access to Peirson will initially be via the ‘out of hours entrance’ (the entrance by the conference centre) rather than the newly formed doors.
Phase 2 of the Peirson project will be completed in November, updates on availability and further services will follow. This phase will include additional PCs with 24/7 access and more study spaces.
Phase 3 will incorporate the Student Guidance Centre.
