Campus restrictions – Saturday 6 October & Sunday 7 October

In order to allow the safe installation of plant and equipment required for the Peirson Building  (including the delivery of a large crane), it will be necessary to prevent access to the St John’s campus from the Malvern Gate entrance on Saturday 6 October and Sunday 7 October.  Access to the campus will be via the Severn Gate entrance and a one-way system will be implemented. Student Ambassadors will be manning the Malvern Gate to assist visitors to the campus.

It will also be necessary to close Car Park A on both days to allow HGVs to park whilst off-loading.  Please note that the road leading to Reception (alongside Peirson) will be closed off. Pedestrian access will be maintained but managed, when appropriate, by banksmen working for the Contractors.

If you are disabled/a blue badge holder or have a short term disability which necessitates you using the above-mentioned car park, please contact Tom Taylor, Head of Security and Campus Services who will be able to work with you to identify suitable alternative parking. Tom can be contacted on t.taylor@worc.ac.uk or through main reception by dialling ‘0’.

Please find below a link to an amended campus map showing the above-mentioned restrictions:

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these restrictions.
