This week we’re marking University Mental Health Day 2026 — and this year’s theme, Human Connection, couldn’t be more relevant. University life can be exciting, busy, and sometimes overwhelming, so we’re creating two welcoming pop‑up spaces where you can pause, breathe, and spend a few meaningful minutes with others.
Our much‑loved “Fancy a Cuppa?” event is going on tour across both campuses, bringing cosy, living‑room style drop‑ins complete with free hot drinks, gentle connection‑building activities, and take‑away tea packs you can share with a friend later. Whether you want a quiet moment, a friendly chat, or a chance to find out more about what Student Support & Wellbeing offers, you’re welcome exactly as you are.
On Tuesday 10th March, we’ll be joined at St John’s Campus by Lush, who will be offering free hand and arm massages using their soothing products — the perfect mini reset during a busy week.
Then on Thursday 12th March, we’ll bring the full “Fancy a Cuppa?” experience to City Campus, with warm drinks, low‑pressure activities, and opportunities to connect and unwind.
