IT’S NATIONAL STUDENT MONEY WEEK….

From the 2nd-6th March 2026, it’s National Student Money Week, shedding light on the key areas which affect student’s finances.

The annual campaign aims to support students increase their financial literacy, building confidence in long term financial planning and improve skills with managing a budget.

There might be times when we struggle with our money more than others, particularly during full-time study. Your university Money Advice Service, based in Student Services, is also here to guide you through topics such as Student Finance, budgeting, additional financial support and boosting your income.

The Money Advice Service is hosting a drop-in stand at the Edward Elgar Main Reception area this Thursday 5th March from 9am-12pm, offering lots of helpful information and guidance around managing your money and budgeting – why not pop by and have a quick chat with the team, they’d love to see you!

We’ll be publishing more helpful guidance and links throughout the week to highlight National Student Money Week and give you access to top tips and resources to help you really get the most out of your money! We’ll also be highlighting how to avoid any issues with borrowing money, including awareness of loan sharks.
