Self-Care Week: Nourish

As we work our way through Self-Care Week, we’ve reflected, moved, connected—now nourish. Think of your body like your laptop: skip updates, it crashes.

Nourishment isn’t kale smoothies (unless you rate them). It’s sleep, fuel, and habits that keep you running on more than Red Bull and regret.

Nourish wins for skint students

  • Meal prep lite: Batch-cook pasta. Add veg. Freeze portions. Future you = grateful.
  • Hydration hack: Refill bottle at every lecture break. Flavour with a slice of lemon if you’re boujie.
  • Sleep > scroll: 30 minutes earlier bedtime = 100% more human tomorrow.

Today’s nourish stations

  • 10am–12pm Pop-up (St John’s Campus) – Free Nutritional Therapy Clinic info, links for the physio clinic’s massage for relaxation and wellbeing, and study tips not to be missed.
  • 2.30pm Wellness Walk (St John’s Campus) – riverside route, fresh air and optional coffee break at Kyndfolk.
  • 3pm Yoga (St John’s) – Gentle hour to stretch out yesterday’s library hunch. Don’t forget to book – it’s not too late! Or for the Severn Campus crew, your yoga’s tomorrow (Fri 21st, 1pm)

Nourish isn’t perfection. It’s progress. One extra glass of water, one earlier night, one proper meal. Stack them.
