The NHS Learning Support fund (LSF) provides additional funding for many eligible students on healthcare courses.
If you are a September starter student on an eligible course and you have had your LSF bursary approved by the NHS, the university will be starting to confirm your attendance for the term. NHS Bursaries open the portal for this process from the 1st – 11th November, the university will be looking to process all confirmations over the coming days and ensure that all students eligible for LSF funding in the September 2025 cohort receive their payments on time.
You can also find further guidance regarding the confirmation of attendance procedure on the NHS Confirmation of Student Attendance webpage here. You can also check the ‘COSA termly windows and payments spreadsheet’ link here for more details of conformation and payment dates across different cohorts.
For your term 1 payment, you need to ensure you have registered online on SOLE for the academic year and have been attending your course.
Remember – For your term 2 and 3 payments, you will need to confirm your own attendance on the NHS online portal, before the university is able to confirm your attendance. Please ensure you check the email account used for your NHS LSF account for information on how to do this.
If you have not yet applied for the LSF, and think you might be eligible, further information about the NHS Learning Support Fund (LSF), including eligibility, how to apply, and when you will receive payments can be found on the NHS student funding webpages here.
For more advice and support regarding your LSF confirmation, you can reach out to the team at the university who provides this confirmation by email to lsf@worc.ac.uk
