Exam adjustments deadline for January 2025 examinations

All exam adjustments for the January 2025 exam period need to agreed and included on a Reasonable Adjustment Plan (RAP) by 4pm on 2nd December 2024. Anyone who still needs to arrange exam adjustments should contact the Disability and Dyslexia Service in ample time to make the sure the deadline is met.

The University conducts two primary exam periods each academic year: one in January and another in May. Additionally, there are two re-assessment periods in March and July, allowing students to retake exams from the previous main exam sessions.

To ensure that any necessary exam adjustments can be accommodated, the Exams Team requires several weeks’ notice. All adjustments must be documented in a published Reasonable Adjustment Plan (RAP) by the specified deadlines to guarantee their implementation.

You can see the deadlines on the Disability & Dyslexia Service webpage.

Please note that any exam adjustments submitted after the deadline will not be processed until the subsequent exam period. Therefore, it is the responsibility of each student to verify that their RAP is accurate and up to date prior to each deadline.

If your exam arrangements are not already in place, you should contact the Disability & Dyslexia as a high priority, and speak with a specialist adviser from the team. You can find out more about booking an appointment by visiting their webpages.
