2023/24 Parking Permits – Apply Online Now

The online application system for 2023/24 parking permits is now live and new parking permits are ready for collection.

What are the Options
Things to Do Before Applying
  • You will need to be a fully registered student to allow you to apply, therefore please ensure you follow the registration instructions you receive from the Student Records team (for returning students) or Admissions team (for new students) before making your parking permit application.
  • This will also provide you with the opportunity to update your term time address details on SOLE before you apply, if needed.
How to Apply
  • To apply for a parking permit, select the blue ‘Apply Online’ button on the Car Parking Information webpages here.
  • You will need to enter your university username and password to login and then follow the steps to make your selection and enter your vehicle details.
  • Payment is required during the online-application process using a credit or debit card.
  • Once your application has been received you will receive a confirmation email.
Blue Badge Parking
  • We have a number of disabled spaces across the campuses – if you have a Blue Badge, you can apply for a free of charge permit – you will however still need to register on the online system.
  • You will be issued with a UW permit and must display this alongside your Blue Badge when parking in a disabled bay.   Please remember to bring evidence of your blue badge when collecting your parking permit.
  • For accessibility information please see the AccessAble car park guide.
How to Collect
  • Once you have completed your online application, your permit will be available for collection from firstpoint during our opening hours (Monday to Friday 9am-4.30pm).
  • We are in the Peirson Study and Guidance Centre on the St John’s Campus.
  • Please make sure you bring some photographic ID with you such as your student ID card, driving licence or passport.
  • If you are a blue badge holder or entitled to PIP, we will need to check evidence of this before issuing the parking permit.
  • You can add up to two vehicle registrations to your permit application, however you will only receive one permit and must make sure it is displayed in the car that you are bringing on to campus each day.
  • We know the start of term can be really busy – however we recommend registering for, collecting and displaying your parking permit by 28th September.
