Every Monday, firstpoint publishes five points about a topic related to life at university. This week, printing documents using the printers on campus…

POINT ONE: PRINTING ON CAMPUS…
You can print A4 and A3 pages by using the printers on campus, in colour or black & white (mono). After you have sent a document to print, you can access it on the printer using your ID card or by entering your username and password.
Printers are set to automatically print in black & white and two-sided, so when sending the document to print, you need to select your requirements if they are different to this.

POINT TWO: PRINTING FROM A DEVICE…
You can print directly from your laptop or mobile device through the WebPrint service, which you can access through MyDay. Log into your portal with your University username and password and click on the ‘Print & Copy Portal’ tile.
Once you submit a print job to “University print on print site 01.worc.ac.uk” you can print your job from any of the printers across the university.
To use a printer, you will need your student card, or you will need to your computer login ID and password, then just follow the instructions on the screen.

POINT THREE: TOPPING UP YOUR CREDIT
You must top up your student card with money to print. There are several self-service kiosks across all campus sites, allowing you to top-up using a credit or debit card by contactless or chip and pin. A kiosk on Level 1 of The Hive will allow you to top-up using coins and notes.

POINT FOUR: POSTER PRINTING…
Currently there are no facilities on campus that allow for printing larger than A3. A search om the internet should provide a list of online print services.

POINT FIVE: IF YOU NEED SOME HELP…
