firstpoint’s five points about the Worcester Alumni Association…

Every Monday, firstpoint publishes five points about a topic related to life at university. This week, staying in touch with the University after you graduate…
POINT ONE: WHO ARE THE ALUMNI

The University of Worcester Alumni Association is our worldwide network of former students. It is not a historical society. Whilst remembering and reunions is a key part of what we do, the Alumni Association is a vibrant community of recent and early Worcester graduates alike, who have a vital role to play in shaping University life for the future, as well as raising a glass to times past.

POINT TWO: KEEP IN TOUCH AFTER GRADUATION…

Many of our graduates say that friends for life are one of the most important things that they will take away from their time at Worcester, besides the high-quality education of course.

The Alumni Association is an excellent way to keep the relationship going, not only between you and your friends, but between you and the University. They would love to hear about all the many adventures and achievements you have gone on to enjoy in your life after graduation and would also like to keep you updated with all the latest goings on in Worcester.

POINT THREE: BE AN AMBASSADOR…

But being an alumni is about more than just news and keeping in touch. Our alumni are not only a great source of pride for the University, but an invaluable network of ambassadors that can play an active role in helping to shape and steer the University’s future direction. You know what it is to have lived, studied and succeeded here, whether in 1949 or 2019, and the Alumni Association value your voice and your support.

POINT FOUR: HOW TO GET INVOLVED…

All those who graduate automatically become alumni of the University of Worcester, but to become an active part of our family of former students you can email alumni@worc.ac.uk .  You can also join the Facebook group, and follow the Alumni Association on Twitter.

It doesn’t matter if you graduated this year or 70 years ago, the Alumni Association would love to hear from you.

You can also get in touch with our Alumni Officer directly by emailing alumni@worc.ac.uk or write to: The Alumni Association
