Dance and Movement Therapy is a way to explore what’s going on in our lives at the moment through fun and relaxed dance and movement sessions. It can help develop our sense of creativity, wonder and playfulness, as well as reducing stress and promoting physical and mental wellbeing. The movement is easy and would suit people of all levels of fitness and ability.
We are currently offering free weekly sessions in dance and movement therapy at Riverside Dance Studio on a Friday from 2:45 – 4pm. These sessions are designed to allow our third year dance students to study for their Dance Therapy module. Sessions are led and supervised by Dr Paul Golz who is accredited by the UKSMDT and some elements are delivered by our students.
Sessions start this week (19th November) and run for the next 4 – 5 weeks. We would invite you to attend as many as you can. If interested please contact Paul (p.golz@worc.ac.uk) to ask any questions and to book a place. Please note we are limiting this to 10 places only on a first-come, first-served basis,
