firstpointFIVE017 – Christmas
Tip 1: Events
There are plenty of events that you can get involved in throughout the Christmas season. Check the city council website for listings and information: https://www.visitworcester.co.uk/
Perhaps you are staying in Worcester for the holiday. Think about hosting your friends or other students for a Christmas party. You could even get together for Christmas day- everyone could bring different dishes or a game to play.
Tip 2: Enjoy yourself
Christmas is a magical time of year. But sometimes the hustle and bustle and demands of the season can become slightly overwhelming. Make sure that you build time in to relax, and make the most of your break.
Remember that the University does close in between Christmas and New Year- but our Security team are always available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You can ring them on 01905 85 5495, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the Main Reception on St. John’s and City Campus to talk to them in person.
Tip 3: Last minute gifts
There’s always one more gift to buy, whether it’s a stocking filler for a friend or perhaps a last minute RSVP to your Christmas lunch. Luckily you can pop into Worcester City Centre for the late night shopping, trawling the high street for that perfect gift and sipping a seasonal mint hot chocolate.
Tip 4: Wrapping
So, you’ve found the perfect gift(s), have you mastered the perfect presentation? Youtube and Pinterest, amongst others, have a wealth of hints and tips. You could go with a particular theme or think sustainable and use brown paper with twine.
Tip 5: The day has arrived!
Finally, you can eat, drink and open your gifts. Merry Christmas!
