firstpointFIVE010 – Things to do in Worcester with your new housemates
Tip 1: Catch a Movie
Catch a movie at one of the two cinemas in Worcester. There is the Odeon if you like a smaller cinema that shows more independent films or Vue for the latest big releases.
Tip 2: Visit some Exhibitions
Visit the exhibitions at the Hive. The Hive regularly hosts events, like Harry Potter night or International photography exhibitions, so something for everyone. Keep an eye on their webpage for the latest news.
Tip 3: Go Bowling
Who doesn’t love Cosmic Bowling with glow sticks? Tenpin Bowling is a short journey from the campus in nearby Perdiswell and could be a great break from studying. Why not invite your course mates?
Tip 4: Have a Coffee
Fancy a more relaxed afternoon with friends? You could pop in to town for a coffee at one of Worcester’s many independent and unique coffee shops.
Tip 5: Take a Walk
If you have more energy, perhaps take a stroll down by the river or escape Worcester for a few hours and hike up the Malvern Hills!
