The lecture will cover human rights and education issues Robin Vincent confronted when entering war-stricken Sierra Leone. The lecture will go on to discuss the war crimes the Special Court was set up to address, in particular focusing on the infringements of human rights. Robin will also discuss the importance of building acceptance within the traumatised communities through the National Curriculum, and education within the local schools.
