We’ve been notified that Hylton Road is being closed in the next hour (23 Jan, 13.30), for a period of 24 hours, due to the rising river level.
This means that traffic will be diverted along Henwick Road this afternoon, and tomorrow morning.
The Police Service has asked that if you have a vehicle parked along Henwick Road, or know someone who has, can you please move your vehicle so that the traffic can move more freely.
